RMIT English Worldwide hosts ABC Education filming new EAP series

ABC Education is filming a new Learn English – English for Academic Purposes (EAP) web series and RMIT English Worldwide (REW) is extremely excited to host the filming at their Bourke Street, Melbourne, location throughout May.

The series will be developed for domestic and international audiences interested in learning English for Academic Purposes – a program designed to provide learners with the academic English skills required for higher education and vocational education programs in English speaking countries. The series will feature two teachers from REW as well as four other teachers from other accredited EAP providers in Melbourne.

REW’s Director of Quality Curriculum and Assessment, Nick Philippou, said,

“It’s a wonderful privilege and opportunity for REW to welcome the six teachers and ABC Education’s Learn English crew for six days of filming in May. We are excited to share REW with national and international audiences and we’re especially proud of the two REW teachers taking part, Jenni Orejarena Priest and Scott Clare.”

The program will consist of twelve ten-minute episodes based on the highly successful series ABC Education Mini Lessons. ABC Education Australia currently boasts over 170,000 monthly views and ABC International receives over 2,199,000 views, providing good exposure for the teachers and their institutions.

RMIT will share a link to the series as soon as it becomes available.
