The main focus of the college program is English for Academic Purposes to prepare students to enter RMIT University courses at all levels. The college also offers English for Special Purposes courses to local students and groups from overseas. A core of salaried teachers and support staff is supplemented by staff on casual contracts to meet the needs of EAP program peaks and of specialised courses. Opportunities also arise from time to time in the Academic Team which produces and maintains the in-house teaching materials for all courses.
